Cody Montana Memorial Scholarship Fund
In 2006, Cody Montana traveled to Hudson Bay with the Great Bear Foundation's Kids' Trip to the Arctic. Cody's positive attitude, big heart, and sense of adventure rubbed off on everyone around him. This year, we returned home from our annual trek to Hudson Bay to the tragic news that Cody had lost his life in a car accident on October 22, 2009. He would have been 17 on January 2, 2010. His family has asked that we celebrate his life, rather than mourn his loss.
In celebrating Cody's life, we have decided to start the Cody Montana Memorial Scholarship Fund to help bring kids to the Arctic, and to help pay for other important educational opportunities for young people. Cody's friends, family, and schoolmates have already contributed money to this fund. Please help us to celebrate Cody's life and to carry on his legacy by helping to provide educational opportunities to other young people.
